So...I know this counts as our third post at BIRP concerning the upcoming album from Sigur Ros member Jón Þór Birgisson (now commonly and simply known as Jónsi).  Through the release of his various singles, our anticipation for his first foray into solo, English-spoken material has been steadily mounting.  He seemed to drop the more ambient atmosphere of the Riceboy Sleeps vehicle in favor of the lush, cinematic and downright epic numbers he's known for.  After a peak into the rest of the album, it's quite obvious that this will satisfy most and quite possibly all of his followers.  Cascading vocals, rich instrumentation...it's all present here.  I know I've been waiting for this album to drop for quite some time so it's a treat to be able to finally listen over to the finished product.  Check out a couple new songs from "Go" down below while we patiently wait for our physical copy, set to hit stores on April 6th...just in time for his world tour which kicks off the same day in Vancouver.
