Caribou

Buzz has been mounting for Dan Snaith aka Manitoba aka Caribou's forthcoming new LP "Swim" since the first single "Odessa" was released a while back.  Devotees will have noticed a slight change in Snaith's style, focusing more on electronic elements than in albums past.  Perhaps the biggest influence for this change was the inclusion of Junior Boys' Jeremy Greenspan into the Caribou fold, who helped helm the new disc at his Pistachio Studios in Hamilton, Ontario.  Snaith also called in for a cameo from Born Ruffians member and past Caribou collaborator Luke Lalonde for the track "Jamelia".  Check out a couple new tracks from "Swim", which officially drops April 20th on Merge.
